1. Privacy Policy Acceptance

All users accessing the Xellow website are subject to the following rules in the Privacy Policy document By accessing or using any of Xellow's website services, you are agreeing to the rules and information outlined in this document.

All services (security, reliability, timeliness, accuracy, and performance) are provided without any warranties. Under no circumstances will Xellow be liable for any loss or damage incurred while using Xellow's website services or our third party website and their services. If there is a dispute between you and the third part site, Xellow will not take part in the matter.

2. Definition
"Us", "we", "our", "website" and "Xellow" refers to the same entity
"content" and "information" refers to but not limited to text, video, images, audio, comments

3. Document Updates Agreement

All account information is password-protected. Below are the information we collect when you register for a new account :

Birth date	Required to state your age when you post a friendship profile.
Gender	Required when posting a friendship or roommate profile
Location	Required to display the proper content
Reference	Required to analyze our marketing campaigns
Email	Required to authenticate accounts, recover passwords, manage subscriptions, and allow other users to contact you

5. Viewing Content
You are entirely responsible for each content you view on the website. It may contain links to independent third party websites with different privacy policies. Please review their privacy practices before accessing the third party website.

Below is the manner in which we share your information when you use any of Xellow's services

Postings	All postings will be shared and accessible by everyone. Events - Attractions - Friends - Roommates - Housing Carpool - Textbooks - Professors - Courses - Schools Comments - Coupons - Nominations - Top 10 Category Suggestions

Share this	The "Share this" tool allows you to share any Xellow pages with your friends on over 50 social networking sites. . Share this will require you to log into your social network account in order to share the webpage. Xellow does not store your social networking passwords or account information

Metadata	If you do not want us to store metadata associated with your contents (i.e. photos), please remove the metadata before uploading the content.

RSS Information	Third party sites may use tools such as RSS feeds to capture posting information from Xellow and thus your postings may appear on other websites.

Promotion	We may share aggregated information with third parties to help improve or promote our services. All this information are not personally identifiable.

Service Providers	We may need to provide service providers with access to your information for a limited time. For example, we need to provide an e-mail marketer with your e-mail to help send out promotional offers. Xellow will implement contractual privacy protections to limit their use of your information.

Transfer of Ownership	If the business ownership changes, we may transfer your information to the new owner so that the service can continue to operate. Your information would still remain subject to the guidelines made in any pre-existing Privacy Policy.

Below are the information we collect when you use any of Xellow's services

Web logs	Records your IP address, browser type, location, timestamp, and pages you visited. This allows us to monitor and administrator the website and provide enhanced services for our users.

Site Activity	We may collect activities you perform on the site such as postings an ad, photo, or comment.

Feedback	We may collect responses if you provide it in the feedback

Cookies	Cookies are small blocks of data that is stored on your devices for a set amount of time. You can remove or disable cookies in your browser settings. However, this may affect your Xellow experience. Xellow uses cookies to : a) Store your user name (without passwords) to make it easier to access the website again without logging in. b) Check that you are logged into Xellow c) Monitor website activities

Third Party Website info	We may share information with our advertising partners to improve the quality of the advertisments. For example, we may provide our advertisers with conversion rates after displaying their ads to measure the ad's effectiveness. Xellow does not share personally identifiable information with our advertisers.

Contact	We may contact you with announcements and offers. You may opt out of these communications on your account settings page. Xellow still reserves the right to send you essential updates

Personalized Advertising	We do not share your information with our advertisers. Advertisers chooses their audience type and we will place their ads accordingly. For example, we may display car ads if we noticed that your account has accessed the carpool tab multiple times. Please note that interacting with the advertisements may place a cookie in your browser to measure the advertising success rate.

Suggestions	We may use the information we gather to make suggestions. For example, we can display the top 5 events or attractions for families if we noticed that you have access many family events in the past..

We use the collected information to :
a) Improve our services
b) Prevent potentially illegal activities
c) Detect unusal activities such as spam or screen scrappers
d) Provide you with proper customer support.

8. Information Security
Xellow.com contains links to third party websites with different privacy policies. Please review their privacy practices before accessing the third party website. Although we make all effort to secure the information we cannot control the actions of other users that have access to your information. We cannot guarantee that the information you share on Xellow will not become publicly available. You can reduce these risks by using proper security practices such as strong passwords and antivirus software.

We try to reduce these risks through the following methods :
a) Information is kept on a secured server behind a firewall.
b) We analyze account activity for fraudulent or anomalous behavior

All postings are stored in our highly secured data center. Although we make all effort to store the information in a secure operating environment, we cannot guarantee complete security.

a) Our web logs and other records are stored indefinitely
b) De-activacted accounts may remain archived for 90 days
c) Deleted information may be archived for a 90 days.
d) Removed information may be still be available elsewhere through sharing tools
e) Sites may archive current or previous Xellow information or images (i.e. google, yahoo, archive.org)

10. Information Disclosure
Xellow may need to disclose your information if it's required by the law, subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process. The civil or criminal matter may be from jurisdictions outside of the United States. We may need to take action if it's required by their local laws and consistent with international standards. This may include providing information to other lawyers, courts, companies, or other government entities.

This allows Xellow to :

11. International Users
By visiting our web site and providing us with information, you acknowledge and agree that your personal data will be transferred to and processed in the United States and that Xellow may use the information outside your resident jurisdiction.
